Purpose of Data Collection

BocaVox uses personal data that it collects for the following business purposes: Maintain and support of Maestro SIS and contractual obligations with its schools, verify identity of users, storing and processing data in computer databases located in the US. The personal information we collect may vary according the learning institution and the school district involved, and is not limited to: user name, user id, first and last name, roll, organization affiliation, email address, phone number, birth date, personal records and billing information but no credit card information is stored) site tracking data (IP address and browser type, Operating system, cookies, activity) and in general the actions you take when you visit Maestro, class information (assignments, files, notes, discussions, mail messages, links, reminders, and all other documents that students or their guardians submit to Maestro SIS), and potentially any information that a user submits when they create an account in Maestro SIS. The only situations where we will share your personal information are under the following, circumstances: • When you have given us express permission to only share your information with another third party such as e-commerce application, LMS and other integrated applications in order to perform Bocavox contractual obligations. • When necessary to share your information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.
