Purpose of Data Collection
Qardio processes users' and consumers' data through its website, apps, and electronic health devices, including: account information provided by users, body measurements, physical activity, billing and shipping address, geolocation, metadata and cookies. Users may elect to share their information with their physician, family, and friends. We process data for several reasons, including, but not limited to: to provide our services with respect to the use of the Qardio devices (QardioArm, QardioBase, QardioCore), to promote our services (including QardioMD), to send promotional information and emails to our subscriber list, to bill money for our products (except credit card information is transferred directly to our third party credit card processors), to send system alert messages, to communicate with users about their account and to provide customer support, to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use and other policies, to meet legal requirements such as subpoenas, to provide information to advisors such as accountants and attorneys, to prosecute and defend lawsuits, claims, etc., to respond to lawful requests by public authorities, to transfer information in the case of a sale, merger, or acquisition, and to improve our services.
