Mali - Protecting Intellectual PropertyMali - IPR
In any foreign market, companies should consider several general principles for effective protection of their intellectual property (IP). For background, please link to our article on Protecting Intellectual Property and Stopfakes.gov for more resources.
The Bureau Malien du Droit d’Auteurs (BUMDA) and the Centre Malien de Promotion et de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEMAPI), which are associated with the Ministries of Culture,
Handicrafts, and Tourism and Industrial Development, oversee intellectual property issues in Mali.
