Guyana - Trade Promotion and AdvertisingGuyana - Trade Promotion
The Government of Guyana held a major Trade and Investment Expo in September of 2018. It may become an annual feature, replacing “GuyExpo,” which had previously been Guyana’s largest trade and investment event. The Ministry of Business collaborated with GO-Invest and private sector organizations to stage this event. The U.S. Embassy usually coordinates with the GoG and private sector bodies to foster market linkages between U.S. and Guyanese firms at events, such as PACK EXPO, Solar Power International, Offshore Technology Conference, and Discover Global Markets.
Advertising in Guyana is conducted almost exclusively through newspapers, television, billboards, and radio.
