Identifies common practices to be aware of when selling in this market, e.g., whether all sales material need to be in the local language.
At the retail sales level, Bermudians expect good after-sales service, which has become increasingly important as local retailers compete with international and online shopping. Networking with friends or family about products is also common. Most local wholesalers employ their own salespersons, buyers, and customer service representatives. In some instances, they use on-line ordering sites.  Some wholesalers host trade promotions and other events for potential investors.  An example is the annual Butterfield and Vallis Food Show. (See Chapter 9: “Contacts, Market Research & Trade Events”). Packaging requirements in Bermuda are the same as in the U.S. and UK.
